Sync file timestamps across paired files
Are you like me and have hundreds of videos created years ago using h.264 compression and you want to transcode them to the more efficient h.265? But after you do that, you have hundreds of video files with a time/date stamp of the day you transcoded the files instead of when they were really created years ago…and updating them one by one is painful. Date Clone solves that pain! This app copies all date/time fields from a source file (the older file) to a target file (the newer file). It will set the date/time stamps on the new files to match the originals. Date Clone uses the excellent and free EXIF Tool (https://exiftool.org/) and you’ll need to download and install it yourself (default install location) before running this program.
