About Aegis

Aegis is a local review workbench for Solidity projects. Open a Foundry or Hardhat repo and it maps the protocol surface, runs Slither plus focused Aegis checks when available, and turns detector output into prioritized review leads with source evidence, call-path context, confidence, assumptions, invalidation checks, and impact bounds. It is built for pre-deploy triage: search and filter leads, jump to affected files, inspect connected calls, ask optional follow-up questions, and copy a structured Markdown report. If the companion engine is offline, Aegis falls back to an embedded local scanner so the workflow still works. Aegis does not certify contracts as secure or replace a professional audit. It gives developers a clearer first pass before deeper manual review.
