BatteryPulse shows exactly how much power your Mac is pulling from its battery, right now. The number is measured, not estimated. BatteryPulse reads instantaneous voltage and amperage directly from your Mac's battery controller and refreshes every second — the same source Activity Monitor's battery pane draws from, surfaced as a figure you can actually read. WHAT IT SHOWS - Live power draw in watts, updating every second - Time remaining, projected from a 60-second rolling average — with the wattage it's based on shown on screen, so you can check the math yourself - A 30-minute discharge history that colors from green to red as your projected runtime falls - Battery health, cycle count, temperature, voltage, and remaining capacity against full - Optional background logging with CSV export, for when you want to find out what was actually running at 2pm WHAT IT DOESN'T DO macOS does not expose real per-app or per-peripheral wattage — no sensor measures it, and any app showing you "Chrome: 3.4W" is presenting a heuristic score dressed up as a measurement. BatteryPulse doesn't do that. Every number in this app is a real reading or arithmetic you can verify on screen. Every figure reconciles: divide remaining capacity by the displayed average and you get the displayed time estimate. Divide health's watt-hours and you get health's percentage. That was the point. All data stays on your Mac. Nothing is transmitted. Requires a Mac with a built-in battery.
