About Dumpster Fire
Every desktop has a pile of files nobody has decided about. Dumpster Fire takes them off your hands: drop anything — files, notes, links — and it disappears from your desktop into one place. Then the fire starts. After a day, the app asks about each item: keep it, delete it, or admit you're not sure. Keep it and the next check comes in three days, then a week, a month, three months — the same spaced repetition used for memorizing things, applied instead to keeping them. Items you defer repeatedly tell you so. Tag what deserves it, search the rest. Nothing is deleted behind your back, and nothing survives without a decision.
