Envoy is a desktop utility that indexes your native macOS databases - iMessage, Reminders, Contacts, Call History, and Mail - allowing you to search and programmatically access your history from a single place. - How it works: Envoy does not directly fetch SMS or connect to cellular networks. It works on top of your existing macOS databases (like `chat.db`). Real-time updates and message delivery rely entirely on your native - already reliable - Apple ID system sync. - Unified search: A simple, lightweight floating search bar (designed with a minimal, translucent glass interface) to query your history instantly. - On-device privacy: Your data never leaves your computer. All parsing, indexing, and storage happen locally on your Mac. - Local APIs: Exposes your indexed history to localhost as secure REST endpoints with built-in API documentation. - MCP server support: Integrates with local AI agents (like Claude Desktop or Cursor) as a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, allowing you to securely query your own local data.
