Through the day, the whole window is the sky. It moves from deep-indigo night through blue hour into the warm mauve-and-amber of golden hour and back again, computed from the real sun for your city. The sun rides low and blooms warm as it sets into the ridge; at night a pale moon takes over, stars come out, fireflies drift along the hills, and a few windows glow in the dark. It tells you what you actually want to know — how long the good light will last — in one quiet line, without a single chart or dashboard.
