Instant MCP is the one‑click bridge between the files on your Mac and the Claude Desktop app. Claude can already work with your local data — but connecting it means editing hidden config files, installing developer tools, and pointing servers at file paths. If that sentence lost you, that's exactly the point. Instant MCP does all of it for you. Pick a file — a CSV, an Excel sheet, a SQLite database, or a whole folder of CSVs — and Instant MCP connects it to Claude. That's the entire app. No terminal, nothing to install, no JSON to hand‑edit. When it's connected, you see plainly what Claude can now read, with an example question you can copy straight into Claude to try it. Everything stays on your Mac. Instant MCP never uploads your data, backs up your existing setup before it changes anything, and disconnects just as cleanly as it connects — removing only what it added. One screen. One decision.
