Markii turns your Mac into a mechanical flip clock screensaver. Time, date, weather and calendar events fall into place on a grid of real hinged flaps, each one landing with its own synthesized clack instead of a looped sound file. Fonts, timing and sound were all built from scratch to make sixty-four cells feel like sixty-four separate objects, not one animation.
