Every writing tool is racing to write for you. Nib is the one that believes writing = thinking. Nib lives in your menu bar and listens only to the writing you hand it. Draft or paste in its pad, or capture anything you've written with a keystroke. When a habit repeats like hedging, jargon, burying the ask, Nib shows you one observation. -- Just three lines: 1. Your sentence. 2. The principle. 3. And how a master handled it. Your hedge next to Lincoln's wartime telegram. Your "circle back" next to Fowler's plain-words rule from 1906. Your buried request next to five words that ended a war: "Let the thing be pressed.” -- The gap between your words and the master's is the lesson. That's the point. Writing is thinking, and no one can do your thinking for you. One observation a day, at most. Nib earns your attention by almost never asking for it. For people who still write — and want to get better at it.
