Noted is a quiet place to put your thoughts. Open it, type, and get on with your day. Drag any note out of the window and it pins to your desktop as its own little sticky, always on top, still fully editable. Close the app and it stays right where you left it. Notes live in notepads you name yourself, so work stays with work and the grocery list stays out of the way. See them all as a board, or switch to the list and write with your notepads down the side. Any line can become a checklist item, so a note turns into a to-do list the moment you need one, and the progress fills in as you tick things off. Give a note a date and it lands on a calendar you can read by day, week, month or year. Drop images and video straight into a note, and a link you paste comes back with its own preview. Your notes and files stay on your Mac. No account, no sync, no noise. The one thing that reaches the internet is a link you paste, fetched to build its preview, and you can turn that off in Settings.
