About Stream

Stream is a calm response to the three apps most people juggle just to run their day. Instead of a calendar, a to-do list, and a journal fighting for attention, Stream holds everything in one chronological line: what's happening, what needs doing, and what actually happened, in the order it happened. Capture is built for speed. A single hotkey opens a floating field from anywhere on your Mac, and a thought becomes a scheduled event, a task, or a quiet note without you ever picking a category or an app. Stream reads dates, times, places, and people straight out of plain language, so "lunch with Ben at 8pm at Dominoes" becomes a real event before you've finished the sentence. Nothing here nags. Tasks that slip carry forward on their own, aging quietly instead of turning red, because missing things is normal life, not a failure. Categories let you see only what matters to the moment you're in, at work or at home, without deleting or losing anything you didn't need to see. Life goals like piano practice or daily pushups live in their own low-pressure lane, tracked by a simple gap since last time, with no streaks to break and no guilt to carry. Every event and reminder lives in Apple's own Calendar and Reminders, synced in real time in both directions, so Stream is a better lens on your data, not another silo. And every evening, instead of staring at a blank page trying to remember what you did, Stream shows you the day already laid out, ready for you to add the one line of reflection that turns a schedule into a memory. Stream doesn't ask you to be more productive. It asks you to carry less, remember more, and end the day with something worth looking back on.
