Breakfast turns the RSS feeds you choose into a real newspaper, published twice a day. It is complete without AI, and you can switch on optional AI features to enrich it. The Breakfast Edition goes to press at 8:00, the Evening Edition at 16:00. Each one is a finite, typeset paper: a front page of the stories that matter to you, section pages, a quick-scan column, and a back page. When you reach it, you're caught up. No infinite feed, no unread counts. Breakfast reads hundreds of articles so you don't have to. Coverage of the same event across different outlets is folded into a single story with every source attached, and ranking is fully transparent: a sticky note on each story explains exactly why it made your paper, from your interests to how many outlets covered it independently. Everything runs on your Mac. Your sources, interests, and saved stories stay local. Optional AI notes and translations are off by default, and anything AI writes appears in pencil, so ink is always fact.
