About NeuroRoutine

NeuroRoutine is a calm, fully private companion app built by a parent for parents of children with autism, ADHD, speech delays, sensory issues, and hyperactivity (ages 3–10). I know firsthand how overwhelming daily life can feel the constant worry about forgetting key activities, staying consistent with occupational therapy homework, managing transitions, and keeping both parents aligned without extra mental load. This app was created from real family struggles to bring structure, predictability, and small daily wins while supporting your child’s journey toward greater independence. Core Features: Visual Daily & Weekly Schedules Drag-and-drop timeline or card-based builder with your family’s real routines. Includes morning activities like outside walks, bus/CNG rides, gym ball jumping with counting (1-2-3), hand massage, hanging in the air, straw drinking, straw/balloon exercises, sensory breaks, and more. Add custom steps with timers, First/Then boards, personal notes (“Count out loud during jumps”), and flexible variations so you can “break routine sometimes” without stress. Interactive check-offs, progress bars, visual timers, and gentle transition warnings help reduce anxiety and build independence. Personal Photos & Customization Attach real local photos to any step (your exact gym ball, front door, kitchen straw, etc.). Personalized photos are especially effective for kids with autism and ADHD. Toggle between photos, symbols (ARASAAC-style), or text to match your child’s level. Occupational Therapy & Progress Tracking Session logger for therapist notes, activities completed, missed sessions, and suggested home practice. Track skill stages in motor, speech, sensory regulation, and more. Visual charts and milestone checklists show progress over days/weeks/months. Export clean, anonymized PDF or JSON summaries for therapists, transparently showing what worked, what couldn’t be done, and where more support is needed. Co-Parent Collaboration (Local Sharing) “Share with Co-Parent” button for easy export/import of routines, schedules, OT notes, progress, and reflections as a single file. Send via AirDrop, USB, or Messages. Smart merging supports both parents suggesting and editing routines. Handover notes keep you and your wife perfectly in sync (“Skipped straw exercise today — try after dinner”). No cloud required, everything stays fully private and local.Sensory, Mood & Independence Supports Quick pre/post activity sensory/mood checker. Optional gentle reinforcement and reward visuals. Independence tracking (full/partial/independent prompts) with suggestions for fading support over time. Simplified child-friendly view with voice feedback for growing self-use.Community Insights (Local-First) Local library of anonymized routine templates and parent tips (e.g., “Straw exercises helped oral motor for many families” or strategies for hyperactivity during transitions). Import/export your own templates to learn from and share with other parents via files no central server. Design & Privacy Beautiful, Apple-style calm interface with soft colors, high contrast options, large touch-friendly elements, reduced motion toggle, and accessibility features (voice feedback, large fonts, keyboard shortcuts). Multi-profile support. Fully offline, airplane-mode compatible. All data stored locally in privacy-focused files (JSON/SQLite). Easy backup/export. No accounts, no tracking, nothing leaves your device. This is not a medical diagnosis or treatment tool it is a practical daily companion that helps parents create predictable routines, track real-life habits, reduce overwhelm, and support evidence-based approaches like visual supports, task analysis, positive reinforcement, and naturalistic strategies. Research shows these tools help build executive function, independence, and calmer days for neurodivergent children when used consistently alongside professional therapy.Made with love by a parent who gets it. Start with one morning routine and watch small consistent steps make a big difference on this lifelong journey.
