About Patchbay
Patchbay turns your folders into your to-do list. Point Patchbay at any folder — downloads, scans, exports, client drops — and every new file becomes a card in your Inbox automatically. No manual entry, no copy-pasting filenames into a task app. The work arrives; Patchbay catches it. From there, a simple flow: Inbox → Today → Completed. Your Today board splits into per-project lanes, so one glance tells you what each project needs right now — not a single scrambled list. Small details that make it feel good to use: - Menu bar capture — jot a note from the system tray without leaving whatever you're doing. - Satisfying completion — finished tasks collapse with a physical animation and a synthesized sound. Done feels done. - Light and dark — follows your system theme. - Try before you commit — load the demo dataset to explore, remove it in one click. And it's fully offline. No account, no sync, no server. Your tasks and your files never leave your machine. Patchbay is for people whose work shows up as files: designers collecting assets, developers triaging exports, freelancers juggling client folders. If your file system already knows what you have to do, your task manager should too.
