About Sauropod

✍️ Write the docs, not the syntax. Sauropod is a visual editor for Docusaurus pages. Admonitions, tabs and collapsible sections become real components you click and edit — not markup you type from memory and hope renders correctly. 👀 SEE IT THE WAY YOUR READERS WILL Four views, one keystroke each: visual editor, split, raw source, or rendered preview. Edit on either side of the split and both stay in sync as you type. 🧩 DOCUSAURUS, NATIVELY • Admonitions as colour-coded callouts — note, tip, info, warning, caution, danger • Tabs you can add, rename and drag to reorder, with groupId preserved • Collapsible sections with editable summaries • Heading anchors, and code fences that keep their titles and highlighted lines • Frontmatter and imports in their own panels, kept exactly as you wrote them 🛠️ BUILT FOR REAL DOCS WORK • Open a whole set of pages at once in tabs • An "On this page" outline that follows your scroll, just like the published site • Slash commands and drag handles to restructure a page quickly • Tells you when a file changes on disk — a teammate's edit, a branch switch, a formatter run — and never overwrites it without asking • Syntax-highlighted code blocks with a language picker 🔒 Everything stays on your Mac. No account, no cloud, no sync.
